Where There is No Light

Troubles and tragedies can cover over our hope and faith like a shroud. In such times we listen and look for the spark of the Divine that is never extinguished.

The Phoenix

A mythical bird said to be reborn from the ashes of its former life, the parallels with Christianity are obvious. Beyond our faith in our post-mortem resurrection, there is also the conviction that we may be "reborn" while in this present life; renewed in our faith, our strength, and our courage through God's grace and Christ's redeeming love.

May the Divine Spirit be the wind beneath your wings! ❤

In the Darkness
Seeking Hope by Deborah Beach Giordano

In the darkness,
let there be light:
the glimmer
of hope,
the radiant shard
lodged
deep
in your heart;
the ache
illuminates
the grace
of love,
the pulsing,
purifying
brilliance,
luminous
courage
arising
like a phoenix
from the ashes.
